If Martha spent 4/9 of her allowance, then she has five ninths left of her allowance (5/9). I know this because 9/9=one whole so 9/9-4/9=5/9. Therefore Martha has 5/9 of her allowance left. ~Katty~
well if martha started out with a whole(9/9), and then she spent 4/9's of it it would be 5/9. why? because 9/9-4/9, they both have the same denominator so u dont need to change, so it would just be 9-4=5. and in fraction it would be 5/9, because 9 is the denominator for both fractions.
Martha would have 5/9ths of her allowance left. I figured this out in two steps. Step 1) Since they have a common denominator, you can just subtract without finding a common denominator Step 2) I subtract 9/9 (also equals 1 whole) - 4/9 = 5/9.
Moshi Moshi (hello hello in Japanese) Evrey1!!!! Okay it WAS fairly straightforward but the answer is 5/9 because if you add 4/9 and 5/9 you get 9/9 which is her entire allowance. Works with subtraction too.
The answer to this question is 5/9. I know this because 5/9 + 4/9 = 9/9 which equals 1 which is a whole which is her full allowance so ya... HAPPY MARCH BREAK PEOPLE!
NOOO DAMN MARCH BREAK I ACTUALLY MSSED THEM MATH blog anywayz just incase 16 of u didnt kno who posted ( jks) its 5/9 becuz 9/9 is like a whole 1 whole that is, so thne minus 4 ninths is 5 ninths so yep l8er!
she would have 5/9 of her allowance left. i know this because 9/9 - 4/9 = 5/9
ReplyDeleteShe would have 5/9 of her allowance left because 9/9-4/9=5/9 So she has 5/9 left

Marth has 5/9 left. This is because 9/9 (the whole)- 4/9 (the money she spent on food and shopping) = 5/9 (the money she has left.

..........ello.............its em.........this is easy if she has 4/9 used then there is 5/9 left wich is 55%.(5divided by 9x100=55).

she would have 5/9 left of her allowance. I know because 9/9 (which is all of her allowance minus 4/9 (what she spent) is 5/9.
ReplyDeleteFirst she would start out with 9/9 allowance
ReplyDeleteThen she spends 4/9
So i would subtract 4/9 from 9/9
I got 5/9
She has 5/9 of her allowance left

ReplyDeleteshe would have 5/9 of her allowance left because her full allowance is 9/9 and she spent 4/9. 9/9- 4/9 =5/9

ReplyDelete-Jojo the great
9/9 (the full allowance) - 4/9 (the spent allowance) = 5/9 (the leftover allowance).
ReplyDeleteShe had 5/9 left. 9/9-4/9=5/9.
